The Signature ALANI Day · six hours

A six-hour day, for example.

  • 10:00am Depart

    Leave Hamilton Island Marina and cruise the Whitsundays.

  • 11:00am Snorkel

    Chalkies Beach, with its fringing reef along the shore.

  • 12:00pm Whitehaven

    A short cruise across to Whitehaven Beach.

  • 12:30pm Lunch on board

    Family-style Whitsunday BBQ, if you add it.

  • 1:15pm Time on the beach

    Walk the sand, swim, or use the Splash Mat and paddleboards.

  • 3:00pm Head home

    Cruise back to Hamilton Island.

  • 4:00pm Back at the marina

This is a guide, not a fixed itinerary. Weather and conditions decide the final plan on the day. With the FUNAIR waterslide ($1,800, six hours minimum) the day uses one anchor location, so the slide replaces the snorkel stop. Catering and drinks are additional.

Water toys

Time in the water is part of the day.

The Splash Mat, snorkelling gear and two stand-up paddleboards come with every charter. The FUNAIR waterslide and Splash Island can be added, with a minimum charter length for each.

    Tuna, kingfish and salmon. Serves 5.

  • Poke bowls $30

    Teriyaki salmon, salmon sashimi, prawn and mango, tuna and salmon sashimi, or honey soy chicken.

Canapé service is available on charters over four hours for groups of more than 15 guests. A private chef fee of $900 applies. Ask the team for sample menus.

    Served on the swim platform, lowered to water level at a quiet anchorage. Maximum 2 guests. Minimum 4-hour charter.

These are separate dining products with their own prices and limits. The team confirms which options suit your charter when you enquire.

  • Standard package $25pp per hour

    Chandon Vintage, Wild Oat Pinot Grigio, Wild Oat Rosé, Corona, Great Northern Super Crisp, 5 Seeds Apple cider.

  • Premium package $35pp per hour

    Veuve Clicquot Brut NV, Shaw + Smith Sauvignon Blanc, Cape Mentelle Chardonnay, Mirabeau Etoile rosé, Corona, Peroni, Great Northern Super Crisp, 5 Seeds Apple cider.

  • Spirits add-on $15pp per hour

    Grey Goose, Hendrick's, Jose Cuervo, Canadian Club and Bundaberg Rum. Single shot with a mixer.

Planning your charter

Where you can go and when.

2 hours: cruise between Hamilton, Dent and Henning Islands, with Cid Harbour also available.
3 hours: swimming when conditions allow anchoring, at places such as Turtle Bay, Chance Bay or Henning Island.
4 hours: one anchor location, such as Whitehaven Beach, Cid Harbour, South Molle Island, Turtle Bay, Chance Bay or Chalkies Beach.
6 hours: two anchor locations, or one when using the FUNAIR waterslide. Adds Tongue Bay/Hill Inlet, Betty’s Beach, Butterfly Bay, Stonehaven, Langford Island, Lindeman Island and Shaw Island.
8 hours: multiple locations depending on cruising distance, adding Saba Bay, Blue Pearl Bay, Luncheon Bay, Maureen’s Cove and Manta Ray Bay.
8-hour Outer Reef: one Outer Reef anchorage, with tender runs to several snorkel sites. Maximum 12 guests.

A relocation fee of $2,000 applies.

3 hours: one anchor location, such as Blue Pearl Bay, Stonehaven or Langford Island.
4 hours: one anchor location, adding Butterfly Bay, Maureen’s Cove, Luncheon Bay, Manta Ray Bay or Pinnacle Point.
6 hours: two anchor locations, or one when using the FUNAIR waterslide. Adds Saba Bay, Tongue Bay/Hill Inlet, Nara Inlet and South Molle Island.
8 hours: multiple locations, adding Whitehaven Beach and Chalkies Beach.
6-hour Outer Reef: one anchorage at Bait Reef with tender runs to snorkel sites. Maximum 12 guests.
8-hour Outer Reef: one anchorage at Bait Reef, Hook Reef or Line Reef with tender runs to snorkel sites. Maximum 12 guests.

Charters depart no earlier than 8:00am. We suggest a 10:00am departure for day charters. The latest sunset departure is 5:00pm for a two-hour charter. The team confirms your exact departure time when your charter is confirmed.

Please arrive at the dock 15 minutes before departure.

Groups of 12 or more, please bring your own towels.

No food or drinks in the cabins below deck.

ALANI is a no-shoes, no-smoking vessel.

All charters are subject to weather, and conditions can limit locations. If the Captain has to call off a charter for safety reasons, we’ll look at other availability during your stay or refund your day.
