ALANI Experience is a small team based on Hamilton Island. We run private charters aboard M/Y ALANI, look after two private homes on the island and plan Whitehaven Beach events, with private flights through our partner MACHJET International. You deal with one team from your first enquiry to the last tender run home.

M/Y ALANI has been based exclusively on Hamilton Island since 2012. The team lives on the island, so we know the anchorages, the weather and the people who make a good day happen. We are happy to help plan your days off the yacht too.
We care about keeping this part of the Great Barrier Reef in good shape, and we’ll show you how to enjoy it responsibly.

George | Captain
Captain George comes from Jervis Bay on the NSW south coast. As Captain of M/Y ALANI he is responsible for safety and the running of the yacht, and he will suggest anchorages, snorkel spots and sunset views to suit your group and the conditions on the day.
Harmon | Deckhand & Caretaker
Harmon is originally from the Cook Islands and calls Hamilton Island home. He works the deck on charter days, looks after the yacht between charters, and is the person to ask about the reef when you are snorkelling.
Charlotte | Chief Stewardess
Charlotte leads the onboard guest experience aboard M/Y ALANI, bringing warmth, attention to detail and considered service to every charter. From welcoming guests aboard to coordinating dining, beverages and the flow of the day, she ensures everyone feels comfortable, cared for and able to enjoy their time together in the Whitsundays.
