Frequently asked questions

Is it best to book online?

For M/Y ALANI, check availability on the day charters page or send an enquiry. The ALANI team confirms the charter, departure time and any extras with you before anything is final.

For term charters, events, flights or a stay combined with the yacht, send an enquiry or call us. For Jasmine House and The Cowries, check live availability and rates on the house page and submit your request through Lodgify. The booking is confirmed once ALANI approves it.

How can I check availability?

Yacht availability is on the day charters page. Each residence has its own live Lodgify calendar and rates: Jasmine House and The Cowries. Include all adults, children and infants in your booking request. The ALANI team reviews the request and confirms your stay once approved.

Do you cater for dietary restrictions and allergies?

Yes, we have alternative options for our standard menu to make sure everybody can enjoy their ALANI experience. For private chef hire, we will design bespoke meals attuned to your tastes and to your needs.

Do you have children on board?

Yes, we welcome any ages aboard M/Y ALANI and we have PFDs (personal flotation devices) for all ages!

Can I snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef?

The Whitsunday Islands lie within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and are home to the GBR’s “fringing” reefs. These reefs fringe the islands.

How many buggies come with my accommodation?

You will be provided 2 golf buggies at each property that you rent with us.

What amenities are included in my accommodation?

Beach towels will be provided for your arrival for use at the pools and around the island. Bath towels supplied. Saya Skincare brand of Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand Wash and Body Lotion is supplied for your comfort. One starter box of Nespresso pods is provided. A starter kit of washing powder, some dishwasher tablets, garbage bag and toilet roll will tide you over for your first night on the island. Any additional items required can be purchased at the local IGA.

How far away is the beach?

Jasmine House and The Cowries are located near One Tree Hill and it is approximately a five minute golf buggy drive to all locations on Hamilton Island.

How do I get from the airport to the accommodation?

Arrival/Departure transfers, if arriving by ferry or plane you will be greeted by one of our staff with a sign with your family name on it, you will then be transferred to your accommodation. Valet will contact you the day prior to departure to confirm the departure time to and location you need to depart to (airport/ferry).

Are the pools heated?

The Cowries pool is heated June-August.

Jasmine pool is not heated.

Can I book activities on Hamilton Island with you?

You can check M/Y ALANI availability through our website or send us an enquiry. We are happy to recommend other activities on the island while you stay with us.

What if the weather is bad on the day I have booked?

We have locations tucked into protected areas to ensure the best possible weather for your day out. In the unlikely event that the Captain must call off a charter due to safety concerns, we can look at other availability during your stay or refund your day.
